Splitting text on a delimiter is one of the most common operations in data processing. A CSV row needs to be split on commas, a log file on newlines, a URL path on forward slashes, or a tags string on pipes. FlowUtil's Text Splitter shows each resulting part on a numbered line, making it easy to count segments and spot unexpected empty entries. The optional trim step removes surrounding whitespace from each part, which is essential when CSV values have padding spaces around the comma. Choose Custom to split on any multi-character sequence — for example splitting on " and " to break up a natural-language list.
